What is Tubing
Tubing is ancient tradition dating back to the dawn of man. Early man did not have tubes of course, instead they used reeds to lash logs into more of an octagon and would relax on the lazy river. Early man knew the value of quality time on the river. A little known fact is that early man would also ferment a berry drink to enjoy while they floated. Fast forward millions of years and you see this ancient ritual occurring on rivers across the world.
Locally, early man's descendents migrate annually to the Madison River to participate in this ritual, known as the hatch, bikini hatch that is. Of course now instead of lashing logs together with reeds modern man uses inflatable tubes, the shapes and sizes of which can boggle the mind. Modern man like their predecessors often enjoy fermented beverages as they float. Both early man and modern man face challenges in their migration to and from the river. Early man had to evade predators on their journey and at times would not make it. Modern man has a much easier time getting to the river thanks to the car. This same invention is what causes trouble when migrating home. While cars operate fantastically prior to enjoying fermented beverage it is quite the challenge after enjoying the beverage. This results in accidents or getting into trouble with those that enforce the laws.
We want to see this ritual continue in a safe manner for all. Madison River Tubing offers safe transport to and from the Madison river. In addition Madison River Tubing offers deluxe tubes for maximum comfort, as well as floating coolers to hold snacks, soda and fermented beverages.
